Short Booms

EA Hire inconjunction with sister company SU Underground offers the largest fleet of specialised modified Short Boom excavators for tunnel and shaft work.

Much of our equipment has been engineered and designed in house to perform specialised underground civil task. These include pioneering the development of the Short Boom to enable excavators to operate more efficiently and effectively in confined spaces.

SU Underground has  also developed the Upside Down Boom to effectively hammer ceilings and difficult to reach areas underground.

Short booms available for excavators from 5 tonne to 35 tonne.
